The first day of practice is right around the corner for students considering turning out for one of the Fall Sports offered at Colville High School. Sports offered at CHS for the Fall Season include Cross Country for boys and girls, Football, Girls Soccer, Volleyball and Cheerleading. The first day of practice for each sport:

            Football                     August 18th

            Cross Country          August 23rd

            Soccer                      August 23rd
            Cheer                        August 23rd
            Volleyball                  August 23rd

Colville is looking forward to competing in the Northeast A League. Every two years the WIAA realigns leagues based on the enrollment in grades 10-12. Our current enrollment places Colville in the 1A Classification. We are joining Lakeside, Freeman, Newport, Riverside and Chewelah in the NEA.

There are several things athletes can do to prepare for the upcoming season. Colville High School requires that each participant have a current annual physical before the first practice. Sports Physicals will be performed at the NE Wash. Medical Clinic on Thursday August 5th from 7-9 PM. They are 10.00 and no appointment is necessary.  If you had your physical on some other date, please leave a copy of the physical with your coach or at the High School Office.

There is additional paperwork for you to complete before the first practice. A packet will be available at the Colville High School office after August 1st.  You are encouraged to pick one up ahead of time and have it completed and ready to leave with your coach on the first day of practice or earlier if you’ve made arrangements.

Please Join our Student Athletes, Coaching Staff and the rest of our wonderful community in supporting our youth as they compete in games and races this Fall. I look forward to seeing all of you at our Fall events.

Have a Great Season,
