The Fort Colville office re-opens on August 18th. Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration and enrollment for new students will also start on this date.

Fort Colville Teachers Receive Grant
Kelly Degman and Evan Jones, two teachers at Fort Colville Elementary School, were awarded Teaching and Learning for the 21st Century Grants. Each of these grants will bring $11,100 in technology and training into their classrooms. In the first year of the grant their classrooms will be equipped with interactive whiteboards, which is a large touch screen that interacts with a computer for a new level to instruction. These teachers will also have 56 hours of instruction in using the new technologies. The second year of the grant adds a wireless response system which allow each student to electronically and instantly indicate their answers for reviewing and assessing their learning.
