Created for the Colville School District

| Curriculum is the sum of educational experiences a student encounters in a school system. How a student learns and experiences subject or content, the manner in which the learning takes place, the people with whom one works, not only changes the brain, but impacts learning over a lifetime.
Colville School District:
- aligns learning standards with state and national goals;
- emphasizes research-based strategies of learning/instruction;
- uses high quality learning materials; and
- engages students in meaningful learning experiences.
Most importantly, each student is valued as an individual with unique strengths, interests, goals, and contributions to be shared. The collaboration of student, parent/guardian, and school staff creates the foundation for a lifetime of learning and productive citizenship.
