• Unusually large vocabulary and complex sentence structure for age
• Enjoys solving problems, especially with numbers and puzzles
• Highly developed curiosity which may include asking probing questions
• Keen and/or unusual sense of humor for their age
These characteristics are often evident in gifted or highly capable students.
