Along with the employment application, you must also submit the following:

  • Letter of intent for position applying for, directed to the Superintendent of Colville Schools.
    Current resumè.
  • Placement file or three professional letters of recommendation (for teaching/administration positions only).
  • A copy of your current Washington State Teaching Certificate and academic transcripts (applicable for Certificated positions), or copy of current out-of-state certificate, if applicable.
  • Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release form completed.

Some job postings may require additional information. These requirements will be given to you along with the job application.

The required application and additional materials must be returned to the Human Resources Department no later than the closing date listed on the job vacancy.

Background/Fingerprint Check

Successful candidates will be required to submit to a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation background/fingerprint check. Any employment offers made by the Colville School District are contingent on a successful background/fingerprint check. A total fee of $53.50 (subject to change without notice) will be paid by the successful candidate for the processing of fingerprints.

Food Workers Permit

For work in the District's Food Service Department a Washington State Food Worker's Permit is required and may be obtained at the Stevens County Health Department for a fee of approximately $8.00.

Employment Eligibility Verification

If hired, you will be required to provide evidence of citizenship or admittance to the U.S. under conditions which permit you to work. List of acceptable identification includes: Driver's license with photo AND U.S. Social Security Card, or a passport. If any of these documents are not available, some substitutions can be made with prior approval.
