The goal of the Long Range Facilities Team is to provideinformation to our community on facility issues and needs of the district as well as the potential directions it can take in resolving them.
During the months of January, February, and March of 2011, the Facilities Advisory Panel will be communicating its findings to the community through small group meetings, open community forums, news articles, and the schools web site (http://www.colsd.org/lrfacilities). The purpose of this communication process is to ‘open the books’ and show the community issues that are facing our school facilities. During this communication process we will be soliciting community feedback on the issues as well as identified alternatives.This feedback will be given to the School Board so that they can use it in the development of a long range facility plan for the district. This plan will be completed in June of 2011.
