Are the Kids Learning?  How Do We Know?

MSP is a standards-based test that provides a snapshot of how well students are learning reading, math, writing, and science standards/goals and progressing toward graduation.

Students in grades three-through-eight, and grade 10 will participate in annual HSPE assessment during the April 13-May 1 testing window.

At grades 3-8 the number of test items has been reduced to shorten the testing time and still provide reliable information/feedback on individual student, group, and school  progress toward the achievement of learning goals.
