Parents

The staff at Hofstetter Elementary enthusiastically welcomes all new and returning students to our school. As a teaching team, we are committed to providing a safe, positive and productive learning environment for our students. We pledge to:

• Help each student acquire basic academic learning skills appropriate to real life situations.
• Help each student develop a positive, realistic self-concept.
• Help each student become increasingly self-directed/accountable.
• Help each student establish satisfying interpersonal relationships.
• Invite each community member to collaboratively strive to make our school the best it can be!

We know that parent involvement increases a student's academic success. Therefore, we urge each parent to become knowledgeable about the learning expectations for your student's classroom and to work with your child's teacher to promote learning at home. We also encourage parents to visit school regularly, to volunteer in classrooms, and to attend special events. We strive to build a strong partnership with our parents for the benefit of students.

Welcome to Hofstetter Elementary! This is your school. It is a place to learn, to make friends, and to have fun. Our goal is to provide you with challenging learning experiences which will help prepare you to be happy and successful throughout life. Opportunities exist here for you to stretch your abilities in academics, the arts, physical education, and social situations.

Hofstetter teachers and staff members are here to assist you with your learning in all areas of our school program. We want each student in our school to do well - your job is to do your best! We will work together to make this a great year.
