Saturday, March 8, will be our Fine Arts Day at Crossroads Event Center in downtown Colville. Hofstetter and Aster times run from 9am to 12pm, and Fort Colville times run from 12pm to 3 pm. Come enjoy the beautiful artwork from our students, popcorn, and have a chance to win prizes! Hope to see you there!
One of Colville School District's goals is to ensure the safety of all students and staff. In the spirit of continued improvement, all the Colville School District entrances are now fitted with cameras and buzz-in systems. Please be patient when entering Colville Schools as we implement the new system following Winter Break. Please remember that there is no school from Monday, December 23rd through Friday, January 3rd. Hofstetter School hosted our annual Veterans Day assembly on November 8th this year to honor the family members and friends of our students. More than 30 veterans were able to attend! It was a wonderful opportunity to thank these men and women for their service to our country.
Thursday, December 5th, all Hofstetter 1st and 2nd grade families are invited to a family fun engagement night. This will be at Hofstetter School from 4:30 to 6:10 p.m. You will get to participate in reading and math activities. At one of the stations your child can pick out a new book and have their picture taken with Santa. We hope to see you there!

Hofstetter school picture day is coming up on Wednesday, October 9. You may purchase pictures on line through Dorian's website at mydorian.com. We will be sending flyers this week in students' folders. Pictures begin at 8:00, so please have your student at school in enough time to have breakfast if necessary and be in their classroom ready to smile by 8:00 am . Thanks!
Good Morning, earlier this morning, Tuesday, September 10, we received a notice that there was a Tik Tok threat against the Chewelah School District. The Colville School District is working with local police and our school security officer to ensure our schools are safe and secure. We will continue to be hyper vigilant to ensure safety at our schools. Our schools will continue to be open at this time. If you have any questions, please contact your student's school office.

The Colville School District would like to remind families that the last day of school, Friday, June 14th will be an early release day. On June 14th, schools will release three and a half hours earlier than normal. If your student rides an afternoon bus, the drop off time for your student will be three and a half hours earlier than normal as well. Good afternoon! This is a message from the Colville School District. In the last week we have been informed of several bear sightings throughout Colville. The Department of Wildlife and local law enforcement have been called on each occasion to ensure public safety. If your child walks to and from school, please remind them to be aware and never approach wildlife. If they see a bear they should contact Stevens County Dispatch as soon as possible.
