A huge THANK YOU to every advisor and student advisor who helped set up, staff, and take down the tables today during lunch break. Your energy, patience, and care helped make the Club Fair feel welcoming and inclusive for everyone!
This kind of dedication is exactly what helps our students discover all that CHS has to offer and find a place where they can get involved, connect, and belong.
And WOW! what a turnout! More than 80 students came through! That’s definitely something to celebrate!
Here’s hoping the CHS Club Fair becomes an annual tradition! 🩶

This is one of two semiannual fish stockings supplied by our hatchery, with the next stocking planned for April 2027 and October 2027. A big thank you to everyone who made it possible for our students to take part in this hands-on learning experience!

Homecoming Wall Decorating 2026! 🎬
One of our favorite Homecoming traditions! Each class chose a theme inspired by this year’s Hollywood theme and then brought it to life by decorating their wall in the cafeteria.
The kids did an amazing job and their creativity is definitely on display! They’re ready for all of the other Homecoming activities happening this week. Let the Hollywood magic begin!

The countdown is ON, CHS! Homecoming is next week! Get ready for a week full of school spirit, fun, and a whole lot of Crimson Hawk pride! Check out this year’s dress-up days and start planning your outfits! And this is just the beginning… stay tuned! We’ve got plenty more Homecoming fun coming your way!

Students enjoyed breakfast, good conversation, and each other while watching the sun come up over CHS. This beloved tradition had an excellent turnout and that sunrise did NOT disappoint!

We can’t wait to celebrate our seniors and all they have accomplished! #ClassOf2026 #GoHawks

Student projects included industry automation with programmable logic controllers, microprocessor controlled circuits, audio circuits, games, servos, motors, LED lighting, and even a fully-functional Tesla coil. Students utilized AI skills in the design and improvement of their projects. Other engineering skills evident during the event included soldering, circuit board design, computer modeling, 3D-printing, ceramics, carpentry, and metal work. The support of the entire CHS CTE teaching staff created an incredible team culture as many students crossed curricular lines utilizing support from many sources across our school.
Throughout the event, students confidently explained their designs, shared challenges and successes, and demonstrated strong pride in their work and professionalism in their presentations. In addition to these hands-on learning experiences, students in the Electronics program also have the opportunity to earn up to 17 articulated college credits through the Community Colleges of Spokane, providing them with a valuable head start toward post-secondary education and career pathways in technical fields. Great work, Hawks!

Throughout the year, students gained valuable hands-on experience by starting petunias, marigolds, zinnias, and pansies from seed while learning the fundamentals of plant propagation and greenhouse management. Students also developed skills in soil preparation, watering requirements, transplanting techniques, and plant care through their work with hanging basket starts and Early Girl tomato plants.
More than just a plant sale, this project provided students with meaningful real-world experience in floriculture, teamwork, customer service, problem-solving, and responsibility. From planting seeds to assisting customers, students were involved every step of the way.
Thank you to everyone who purchased plants, supported our students, and helped make this learning experience possible. Your support helps our greenhouse program continue to grow while giving students opportunities to build skills they can carry into future careers and everyday life!
The competition consisted of oral reasoning, a knowledge test, team activities, and judging different riding and halter classes. This was a great growing opportunity, and we can’t wait to come back next year!
