Harassment, intimidation, or bullying means any intentional written, verbal, or physical act, including, but not limited to, one shown to be motivated by a characteristic in RCW 9A.36.080 (race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, including gender expression or identity, mental or physical disability) or other distinguishing characteristics when the act physically harms a student or damages their property, substantially interferes with a student’s education, creates an intimidating or threatening educational environment, or substantially disrupts the orderly operation of the school.
Discrimination, harassment, intimidation or bullying, are addressed through Policy 3207, Prohibition of Harassment, Intimidation or Bullying and its accompanying Procedure 3207P.
