Colville School District offers free developmental screenings for preschool age students. If you suspect your child may be eligible for special education services, please contact us to schedule a screening.

DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS

Beginning January 31, 2023

Colville School District #115, located in Stevens County, Washington, in accordance with WAC 392-172A- 05235, has scheduled the destruction of Special Education records for all students born in the year 1991. The records are no longer needed for the provision of services.

If you were born in 1991 and received special education services while attending the Colville School District and would like to take possession of your file(s), please email Special Ed. Records or visit the Colville School District office at 217 S. Hofstetter Street.

Records will be released to the student of record with a current photo ID with valid mailing address.

Records not claimed prior to January 31, 2023 will be destroyed. The District will maintain an electronic record of the student name, birthdate, and the date of file destruction.
