The Colville Fish Hatchery has been hosting many tours and field trips. Hatchery students have been busy sharing their love and learning of fish with these groups. Students in our fish & wildlife management class really shine with the knowledge and hands on activities to step up and lead visiting groups. We have hosted kindergarteners from Hofstetter, a variety of homeschool groups, a college-level group from China, boy scout groups and other singleton visitors. Observations of the early life stages of rainbow trout are always a desired time to visit the hatchery. If your group is interested in a tour feel free to email tami.mills@colsd.org.
