Subject line: COVID-19 Testing Services Update

Hello Colville School District community,

As you know, our school district participates in Learn to Return, a program funded by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) that provides free COVID-19 testing for Washington K-12 schools.

Through Learn to Return, we partnered with Curative, a lab-based testing company, to provide PCR testing services to our school community.

The primary purpose of this email is to share with you that Curative will be ending their testing contract with DOH, effective December 28, 2022.

This means that our school will no longer have Curative testing services available to you. The last date of Curative testing services at Colville High School, Colville Junior High, Fort Colville Elementary, Hofstetter Elementary, and Panorama School will December 12, 2022.

To ensure that you still have access to COVID-19 testing , Colville School District will continue to provide Rapid Antigen testing services at Colville High School, Colville Junior High, Fort Colville Elementary, Hofstetter Elementary, and Panorama School.

If your student needs a COVID-19 test, please do the following:

  • Contact your student’s school and let them know that you are consenting to a Rapid Antigen Test for your student.

  • Contact your student’s school and request free Rapid Antigen Tests to be sent home with your student or request to pick up free test kits for your family.

Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping our school community safe.
