Colville High School, in collaboration with the Colville Police Department and our local first responders, will be conducting an informational training on Friday, April 24.

As part of this training, the school will host a DUI Mock Crash simulation designed to provide students with a realistic, educational look at how emergency personnel respond to life-threatening incidents. The simulation will extend beyond the crash itself to illustrate the broader and lasting consequences of impaired driving. This includes a simulated funeral and a court hearing in partnership with the Stevens County Courts, helping students understand the emotional, legal, and community impacts that can follow such events.

This experience is intended to promote awareness, reflection, and responsible decision-making. By engaging students in a structured, real-world scenario, we aim to reinforce the importance of making safe choices and understanding how one decision can affect many lives.

We recognize that this type of simulation may be intense for some students. To support all learners, Colville High School will provide open classrooms as an alternative option for students who prefer not to participate. Additional counseling staff will also be available to offer support before, during, and after the event.

We value transparency with our families and community and are committed to ensuring this event is conducted in a safe, respectful, and age-appropriate manner. We encourage families to use this opportunity to have meaningful conversations at home about safe driving, decision-making, and looking out for one another.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the Colville High School front office. Thank you!

THIS Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Colville High School’s Drama Club is excited to present Beauty and the Beast by Timothy Mason. In this mysterious gorgeous adaptation, Beauty and her Beast exist in a shadowy world of magic and poetry, and extremes of light and dark, cold and heat, pain and joy. Beauty must leave behind her beloved father, adventure-hungry brothers, and uproariously self -absorbed sisters, entering a dark castle filled with strange mute servants obedient to their beastly master. The story tests the nature and the limits of physical beauty, as she finally looks beyond the Beast’s ugliness and understands her transforming love for him. Please join us on March 12 @ 4:00 pm, March 13 @ 7:00 pm or March 14 @ 2:00 pm.  All seats are $5 at the door, CHS students are free with an ASB card. We'll see you there!

Get ready for a night of laughter and pure imagination! The CHS Drama Club invites you
to join them for Bestest Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Grandpa) (He’s Silly), a wildly funny mash-up of classic fairy tales retold in the most unexpected ways. From twisted tales to familiar favorites turned upside down, this fast-paced comedy is perfect for audiences of all ages.

Grandpa is a little out of practice when it comes to babysitting, but if he’s ever going to get his bouncy grandkids to go to sleep, he’s got to remember some bedtime stories fast. Or at least something pretty close to them. Meet the Witch in “Hansel and Gretel” who lives in a house made of broccoli, the magical fairies Lipitor, Miralax, and Excedrin in “Sleeping Beauty,” and Jack who needs help from the stage crew getting down the beanstalk and away from the giants in “Jack and Jill and the Beanstalk.”

This comedy by Ed Monk is sure to be a hit for all ages. You’ll never look at bedtime stories, or your favorite storybook characters, the same way again!  Come support our talented students and enjoy an evening of fun, creativity, and laughter! Bestest Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Grandpa) (He’s Silly) will be performed by Colville High School on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22 at 7 PM and again on Sunday, November 23 at 2 PM in the Colville High School auditorium.
